How it all started
I was born in the Algarve, but I am from Dutch origins as both my parents are from The Netherlands, I lived in the Albufeira area for 14 years and moved to São Brás de Alportel in 2000 and stayed here ever since. I had the chance to experience living in the two worlds that the Algarve has to offer, one was just a 5 minute walk to the beach and the other in the lovely Algarvian countryside and hills.

Started working as a receptionist in 5* Hotel and also in Vet clinic and Art shop. I started my career in real estate in 2010 and joined Divine Home in 2015 and still enjoy it everyday.

Why I love my job
I feel that the great and open relationship between client and agent is the most important key feature to a successful result and this is one of the major keypoint for the company’s success. This is achieved by the ability to listen while offering them guidance, by having local knowledge, a friendly and professional approach to act as a consultant instead of a "hard salesperson", enables the client to feel confident, reassured and this way makes informed decisions. This is why I love this work, every day is different and full of challenges and the satisfaction of helping people to sell their property or buying their dream house in the sunny Algarve.

When I'm not working
When I am not working I enjoy walking in the countryside and observing nature, its sounds and smells. Kind of a meditation time for me. When the weather is bad, I love to sit on the couch and watch a documentary or read a good thriller book. I love the beach and swimming in the sea. I enjoy taking pictures of flowers, bugs, and small details. I also have 4 dogs that keep me busy! When possible I like to explore the country.
